Design No: LECLR: "LASER-ETCHED LION CUBE"

Cool lead crystal cube with 3-D depiction of a vicious, carnivorous male lion, also known as the "King of Beasts" in his natural habitat. Although this cubed species isn't found naturally in the U.S., we have plenty other cats, both domestic and wild, who also frequently prowl about looking for prey! The pretty crystal cube measures approximately 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches on all sides. The mysteriously laser-carved figure inside is visible from all angles, and is quite a piece of artwork. The cube comes pre-boxed for gift giving, and is quite a conversation piece. It weighs about 6 ounces, unboxed.

One image depicts the cube as it stands naturally on its bottom showing a side view of the beast. The other image shows a semblance of what it would look like if viewed from the front or straight on. Very interesting!

We did not create this item, and the manufacturer didn't tell us how the artist engraved this image inside without any residual glass etchings present, so we don't know how it was done, but it is quite curious. This may be the question of the hour....'how did they do that????' Do you have an explanation?????
